I've been keeping vague tabs on the autopackage project as it looked promising, but mostly it was still in the "unstable API" stage, so wasn't really much to use to me as an end user. I was looking at the latest inkscape however, and noticed an autopackage install. I figured this was a good chance to actually give it a try. It worked flawlessly and elegantly and did everything I would expect of it. I look forward with great anticipation to the 1.0 version and a wide variety of packages available. This is exactly the sort of things linux package management desperately needs. Thanks for all the great work.
