hi guys!
First, I want to apologize for my English. I'll try to explain everyting clearly. So, some time ago, I found a bug. I'll describe it now.
Please repeat with me.
Create a new layer without typing a name and then click add. figure 01: http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/8720/01cz8.jpg
Left mouse button on layer name (probably, the name will be called layer1) and call it anyhow. I called it "test". Please note that the name in the status bar still remains called layerX, not "test". figure 02: http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/7800/02bh2.jpg
Next click on eye or padlock icon and note that name of the layer returned to layer10 (in my case).
This won't happen if we name layer typing in window dialog.
I've been testing it in the past but didn't know where to notify it. Also my language is a barrier so please forgive me for that.
cheers!
Hi,
Don't worry about the language, you've made yourself perfectly clear!
Please report this at https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape, to make sure your bug report doesn't get lost.
Thanks for the report!
