I was playing with the linked offset on some very simple paths and found it didn't create a smooth path:

Are there inaccuracies in the linked offset algorithm, or is it something to do with the paths and the values I was trying? I find similar things happen with the dynamic offset as well, using the same values, but it's not as obvious.

This was from an svg file I saved 3 years ago using Jasc Web Draw.

Great job with the 0.37 release BTW.
