
It seems like the icon for the far left "Zoom drawing if window size changes" is not taking up all the space of the widget.
This button is planned for elimination anyway, there will be a global switch to that effect in preferences instead.
Do you think so? I think both behaviours are common and would be better serviced by an accessible button. Of course, I'm not a big user of inkscape, so I am happy if I'm wrong.
This switch makes sense for an SVG viewer - in it, if you resize a window, you want the drawing to resize as well, if only because you have no other ways to zoom or pan it. With an editor, your window is indeed a _window_ showing you the part of the landscape you're working on; and of course when you open your window wider or narrower the landscape does not change.
