./configure of inkscape-0.46 stops with:

checking boost/concept_check.hpp usability... no checking boost/concept_check.hpp presence... no checking for boost/concept_check.hpp... no configure: error: You need the boost package (e.g. libboost-dev)

But boost_1_35_0 is compiled and installed with --prefix=/usr/local. The requested header is located in /usr/local/include/boost-1_35/boost/

Copying the headers over to other locations (/usr/include) didn't help.
