Sorry to be pushy, but the crash on save Windows bug is very bad, and I want to check asap if JonCruz fixed it or not. Right now I don't have time to set up windows builds on my machine, so I rely on http://inkscape.org/win32-snap/. However the latest build there is from 29 oct. Is there a newer one somewhere?

Hello.

Here: http://cortijodelrio.net/~inkscape/win32/
Greetings.

Thanks, tried Inkscape0410310200.zip 31-Oct-2004 02:05:
- Crashes on save
- Crashes on bitmap import
- Opening or importing SVG files works
- Crashes on exit (perhaps because tries to write preferences.xml)
All crashes are with "MS VC++ Runtime" error box and thus not backtraceable. So looks like the "b" fix does not fix it for win98 :(

Could you open svgz (that from the share directory) ?
Adib.

Nope:
** (INKSCAPE.EXE:4293555523): WARNING **: SVGView: error loading document 'C:\in k040pre\share\examples\tiger.svgz'
file:///C%3A/ink040pre/share/examples/tiger.svgz:1: parser error : Start tag exp ected, '<' not found g;r@ ^
But it did not crash, at least.

I've switched to mirroring ddiaz's win32 builds, since they're fully automated. The change will take a little while to get sync'd.
