will there be new test versions for 0.45/win32?
Hello,
Since the bug hunting has begun for the 0.45 version, I have a question about the download locations listed in http://www.inkscape.org/download/
- The versions at http://inkscape.modevia.com/win32-snap/?M=D are desperately old (25 oct 2005) - http://cortijodelrio.net/~inkscape/win32/ is dead for more than a month already - http://inkscape.modevia.com/win32/?M=D the most fresh version is from the 10 dec 2005
Will there be everyday compiled fresh win32 test versions to play with in the close future?
Thanks!

The modevia.com site was set up as a mirror of cortijodelrio.net. I believe Daniel is aware of the situation but unable to act on it because of time of proximity constraints.

Bob creates these builds by hand.

I think we probably can't make promises without a volunteer stepping forward. But building on win32 is incredibly simple, so I would encourage you to try building inkscape from svn. This will save you from those dreadfully long waits between versions (I still remember this from before I learned how to compile). It will also avoid daily huge downloads. (Plus I'd be happy to give you a walk through if you can catch me on jabber.)
Bob, have you updated your directions to use buildtool?

I went to Dallas, TX, last week and picked up the (disconnected) server that had been building Inkscape. It's now back in my hands and the system is being updated as I'm writing this email. Hopefully it'll be up and running this week.
Greetings!

You mean 10 Dec 2006, right? 3 days.

We do that somewhat now. However, an svn update this morning only refreshed 6 files. Really no reason to build for building's sake.

No, and I guess I should. I've written a few paragraphs in docbook format. When I get more done, I'll upload. The current Docbook version is pretty cool, btw.
