Hi. I'm the current French translator, with Pygmee. I guess you're joking about French translations : - We updated the FR tutorials translations and the software interface for 0.44 (100% translated, and the svn trunk is also 99% translated too). - Mouse/keyboard shortcuts are translated too, so are the man pages and the windows installer. - Release notes for 0.44 have also been translated and the release notes for 0.45 (under development) are synchronized weekly. - I'm also translating Tavmjong's "guide to inkscape" to French.

Of course, with pleasure. Some reviews of the current translations would be appreciated I think Pygmee would be more than happy to get some help with the manual. We may also need some help with the translation of the wiki and the news.

I think if you want to work on this, there's no problem. You should maybe come on the translator mainling list and ask some other translators (i've never translated the news, neither has pygmee) what's the detailed process for it.
