Hello there,
I installed the last 0.46 version my Tiger (10.4.11) Mac OS X. When I write Arabic I get disconnected letters - not as Arabic should be. I had an earlier version (I don't remember which one) that worked perfectly on the same OS version. I tried to install all prior version down until 0.43 - and the problem wasn't fixed.
Any ideas?
Thanks, ssb2o
FWIW - as a data point, using 0.46 on windows XP I had no problem pasting connected arabic script into inkscape (copied from firefox3/gmail), and then to convert it to paths before saving.
You might try to similarly copy/paste connected script instead of typing it in...
