Why did you guys switch the color-values in the fill dialog to a scale of 255? Fraktions of 1 or a scale up to hundred is way more intuitive IMHO.

It was done for commonality with most other graphics packages such as gimp, psp, photoshop etc so that you can easily pick the same color (all of them use 0-255 ranges) If you want to enter fractions of 1 ie 0.5, you still can, it converts automatically.

To support SVG and CSS, of course. Since colors are commonly specified like this:
bgcolor="#abcdef"
...where you have 3 hex bytes, valued 00-ff, or 0-255. If the GUI editor used percentages, and the values were stored in the XML as hex, then the author would need to convert hex->% and %->hex to sync them.
