occasional artifacts on Zoom In (inkscape-trunk)
Ubuntu 11.4 ( with cairo-1.11.2 ) radeonHD 5570 with catalyst 11.6
steps to reproduce : 1) open a new file 2) draw a rectangle or another figure 3) zoom-in - before the mouse release the artifacts occasionally will occur - probably is just because of ATI / AMD drivers

Confirmed with Radeon HD 4850 with the same Catalyst version. This only appears if you use the rubberband zoom (from the zoom tool), not Ctrl + wheel.
