Bryce asked for this, but I thought it might be useful for other people too. There is a little utility on this page called 'lc' which counts lines. There are others too, but I've only used lc. Just so everyone doesn't have to do it, I ran it on the Inkscape codebase and threw it into the attached Gnumeric file ;)
