Re: [Inkscape-user] Re: Nuevos Traducciones de Tutoriales/New Tutorials Translations
Spanish translators suggest that we include the html/png versions of all tutorials into the Inkscape distribution as well. What do others think? I'm afraid this will blow the size considerably, especially if we include all languages (as we do for SVG tutorials).
Maybe it's time to create language-specific distributions, at least for French and Spanish? Does anyone have experience with automating such things?

yes Bulia We want that- this translations would be able to access in the inkscape application. Can you include it on InkScape?

I agree...the size would grow mucho and also would set precedent for making more language specific versions. The more consolidation the better IMO.
Why don't we just put those versions up on the web, maybe in a folder called tutorials.

Hmmm...maybe this web-based approach can solve that.

They are on the web already. It's claimed that not all users have internet access.

Re size concerns: Splitting into separate tarballs for download by interested users would be reasonable if they are large. As bulia points out, we already have (untarred) versions at http://www.inkscape.org/doc/index.php, so we would just upload a tarball at the same time as uploading newer copies of the untarred versions.
I don't know how much demand there would be for them given that they're already available in SVG form in the distribution.
Is the size concern about installed size on users' machines, or only about download & mirror costs? If the latter, then we might seek a solution relevant to the whole of share/. We already offer executable-only downloads for builds-of-the-day; we might extend the scheme.
