I also make a motion to remove the GTK color that makes the fill/stroke palette to massive in the release. Agree? Disagree? Obviously, we will add back in once the custom gtk color wheel is finished.

I think maybe a better option would be to copy the Gtk color selector widget into our codebase and trim out the fat bits we don't need.

Honestly, I think the current state of things is too obnoxious to release with. I'm using a 1280x1024 display and the current fill/stroke dialog is still large enough to make Inkscape very painful to use.
At the same time, like Bulia, I wouldn't really want to do without that style of color selector either...
So, if Jon's replacement is nearly ready, let's merge it and get moving; I even think it's worth delaying the release for a couple days over if necessary.
