I don't think mentors have been assigned yet, but you can talk to all the developers on the chat channel at https://chat.inkscape.org/channel/team_devel to ask questions, advice about GSoC or coding in general.

Do you know what kind of GSoC project you want to work on yet or are you just getting started investigating?
