Unless someone objects, I've going to go ahead and rearrange the SVN repository so it has per-module branches/tags.

Do you mean break it up like CVS was before (i.e. separate modules for each, well, module? inkscape, inkscape_web, etc?)
I see right now all old CVS modules are all in the main trunk.

I see right now all old CVS modules are all in the main trunk.
Right. trunk/inkscape becomes inkscape/trunk, trunk/inkscape_web becomes inkscape_web/trunk and so on.
