Hi,
Is there still much interest out there in having Inkscape support JavaFX?
I fixed some core issues to get things to at least compile/read, etc. However there are still some bugs on specific features not working when exported files are brought into JavaFX-land. It would help things greatly if some users could poke about briefly and enter some Launchpad bugs against Inkscape for individual JavaFX issues.
Thanks.
Hi Jon. I'm definitely interested. I'll help by answering any questions I can about the FXZ / FXD spec.

The main thing is some user testing of the current implementation. This one blog entry pointed out some problems:

I think when I fixed the 1.2 export I had noticed some coordinate/ transform problems going on with the gradients and perhaps the stroke. What would help would be
1) reproduce the problems. 2) file individual bug reports for any problems (one for the gradient, one for the stroke problem, etc.). 3) test proposed fixes with inkscape built from SVN.
Of those, getting bugs submitted is the biggest item. Anything simple and quick to fix might get in, but major support improvements will have to wait for post-0.47.
Thanks for the response.
