Hi,
I've found that it's pretty fatal to press "." (period) when using the "select and transform" tool, since inkscape shuts down immediately. The only thing I get is this message in the console:
a = | inf 0 |, b = | inf nan | | 0 inf | | nan inf | | nan nan | | nan nan | Aborted
I can't find "." in the shortcut list, what is it supposed to do? I'm using cvs from 20040518.

'.' doesn't seem to crash Inkscape in my CVS build from the 18th on Mdk Linux. (This is the same build where I'm getting a crash when clicking on the zoom widget.)
Can you put in a detailed bug report including the exact steps to recreate it (in case it's something specific we've overlooked so far), as well as details about your system and environment (in case it's something unique to your system). See the bug report page for details about what to report.
