Hi.
Looking for contributions to mockups for animiation scripting and xml editor support. http://andy.brisgeek.com/archives/39
I've hacked up what i can for now. It's probably better to reply here than on comments
Thanks
Andy

Shouldn't there be a specification, list of features first? What should be possible with the animation system?
I would like to see: - Tracks per object. Layers could be handled as track-folders, then. - The tracks would control an object's 'lifespan' with regions, where a region is basically just a rectangle across time. Outside of regions, the object would not 'exist'. This saves one from tricks like moving objects out of viewport or toggling there visibility in some obscure way. - Keying of shap, stroke, fill, opacity, blur ... - Control over transitions between keys (stepped, linear, progressive ...)
Extra: - animation curves (called IPO curves in Blender). Bezier curves (splines would do, too) to control single parameters over time, for example the amout of red in a fill.
And just now I remeber it's all SVG and I have no clue what can be put in there in a sensible way.
