Hi all,
A few weeks back we decided to put the release on pause to give time for additional work on the PDF extension. Could someone outline the status of this work, and if it is still necessary for this to be blocking the release?
If not, would anyone have an issue if we resumed the release process at this point? I find myself with some unexpected extra freetime this month that I could devote to assisting with the release.

Funny...I had the near same email ready to send...lets haul on the release. Activity seems to have lowered...I think now rather than wait any more...
Okay, well one of the really big items is getting the about screen contest underway. What steps are necessary to get this going? Any chance we can get this ready to start accepting submissions by this weekend?

Yes, I just need to do the import...do you want to help me with that :) You will be thanked in a million languages by a million people ;)
Yes, I want that live asap too! If you don't want to please encourage and motivate me to do it faster...I can do it probably fast, but just need a coach...

What is the import? Why is it a prerequisite?

Well, could we perhaps run the contest semi-manually this time through? If people are feeling overwhelmed by the scope of the work required to make everything perfect, perhaps it'd help to reduce the scope to something that could be more rapidly achieved.

I vaguely remember this. Was there a task description/outline somewhere?

How are things progressing on the about screen front? It's critical we get one selected pretty quickly, as we're running short on time. Is the software ready for running a contest? Maybe we could just do it manually this time through?

We can always fall back on doing it via deviantART as we have in the past. If this would be of interest, please let me know so I can get it all set up. Also, the win32 stuff hasn't built for me in a couple days and I see no updated packages on Modevia either. We should probably make sure we have up-to-date packages available on the 3 major platforms before beginning the contest. Thoughts?
