Master Opacity and Marker question

Hi,
I'm back to User Manual. I 've been trying the Master Opacity, to explain its use. But when applied to Markers, only the path seems to be affected by the opacity changes. Is there another way to do ?

According to Batik, it's a bug. According to Adobe, it's not. I tend to trust Batik more on this. Could you please submit a bug report on this?
