list of arrows looks strange (snapshot 20040510)

The list of arrows in "stroke style" looks strange (snapshot 20040510) - see the attachment.

...and one more thing: I can't change the colour of the arrow - the line colour changes but the arrow stays black.

Have these marker issues been entered in the tracker? I know some of the issues - like this one - may be a bit more complicated to solve the "right way" so it may be useful to have a ticket to track the issue against.
