Rendering the 0.47 about screen with normal quality for blur en effects in the preferences I get this:

only changes to Inkscape.app: smaller font size in 'pre_gtkrc'.

How strange?! It is now OK on my system too. I was reproducible just a few minutes ago and changing the filter quality did not solve any issue. I even tried to reopen the files I had open but the rendering stays OK. Temporary glitch of the X server maybe.
Anyhow, sorry to have bothered you all with this.
