can inkscape have multiple pages, and export them to a PDF?
Hi all,
The ability to export multiple pages to a PDF would enable: - creating slide presentations - creating books
Because at the moment there is no nice way to make neither slide presentations nor books in linux or bsd. Both ooimpress and scribus have very, very bad user interfaces compared to inkscape.
Are there any plans on this direction?
Thanks for any info.
Albert

I wouldnt say that. Have you tryied LaTeX beamer ?
anyway, I agree with you that multiple page layout is a much needed feature in inkscape, but I am not sure how would that be handled/abstracted in the SVG file format.

Hi Albert:

There is a wiki page with a summary of different tools that can be used for creating multi-page presentations or books.
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/ Tools#Multipage_presentation_or_book
Maybe you find something that suits your needs. For JessyInk, I can help you with tips and modifications, the others I don't really know.
Cheers, Hannes

Why? Get a browser that supports SVG and use Jessy's template:

Hi, I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can use inkview to view multiple SVG files as a slideshow.
