Today we have found and patched a number of GDI resource leaks. This will likely fix the bug where using text tool eventually caused Inkscape to freeze with endless "SaveDC failed" and "RestoreDC failed" messages streaming to the console:

Everyone who has ever experienced it (and everyone else using Windows), please test a CVS build dated later than today and report your results.
