During an Inkscape crash a popup-window was displayed announcing that backups of the open files have been created automatically. This is a very nice feature, however I can't find the files on the system (I tried with locate after an update of its database). Is there a known problem with the function or the filename?
Cheers,
Hennig

If any backups were made (they aren't always), they will be in your ~/.inkscape/ directory.
If you can reproduce the crash, please check if there is a bug report in our bug tracker about it, and if not please add one.
