Attached is a sample of the new Inkscape business card for review. The idea was to make a foldable card so people could write notes on the inside of it.
I thought that a notepad theme would work, and I included my favourite Inkscape hotkeys on the back for added value.
Yes, the hotkey text will be small, but it is a business card, so. :)

Excellent! Gorgeous artwork!
Personally, black and orange wouldn't be my first choice for colors. But I guess the Vectors team hasn't gotten a major branding effort underway yet. I do look forward to Inkscape having its own official color scheme (even if it turns out to be orange and black....).
Great work, C R !
All best, brynn

Black and orange and white are the current colours for the Inkscape website. I'm torn between that and the teal of the booth graphics, which currently don't match the website at all. :)
Yes, we kinda need to solidify it I think, but obviously redoing the website will be a major effort that no one has time for at the moment.

The website schema is pretty old by now, if you want to make a start on a new colour scheme, this might be the place to germinate it.

Unfortunately, I don't presently have the time to spearhead this change. I'll stick with Orange for now, since it will stand out against the teal, and goes with our current setup. In my opinion, changing Inkscape's branding colours should start with the website, not with the printed materials.

Hi C R
Thanks so much for your efforts. Like the design, just a sugestion about shortcuts, I think the most useful shortcuts are main tools ones to switch between tools specialy select tool.
Thanks for your time!

Yeah, F1 and F2 are important ones for me too... And then of course you could mention one of the less documented, but super cool SHIFT-J, ALT-J, ALT-BACKSPACE, or SHIFT-B Maybe make that a fill-in-form, for users to find out by themselves.
(Only one, so that there are more for future material. *insert evil grin here* )

I've updated, un-pathed (paths back to text) translated and improved the larger sheet made by Ridjam, and plan to print and bring it.
So we're not going to need a complete list on the business card, a small selection is sufficient. For readability, I'd have reduced the selection a bit, but, as Chris points out, it's a business card - readability doesn't seem to be of importance for those for some reason that I cannot follow, but will just accept.

There are some reasons for this, design and otherwise: 1. It's a very small document with limited space. 2. To look good, the design must contain the usual bits of breathing room (empty/negative space) as not to look cluttered, which is why I've included the inkscape logo in the middle instaead of trying to cram more hotkeys in there 3. A business card can easily be lifted up, using the built-in zoom function we humans have when we hold things closer to our faces: https://youtu.be/pg-5SOydz6Q?t=38 4. I'd have to cut out a LOT of key shortcuts to make font much larger, and would have to remove the Inkscape logo in the middle which presently helps break up the space. I'd have to cut so many of them out that it would no longer be a very useful list.
Basically, it's making the best I can out of a bad situation with too many good ideas. :)
The good news is people from our community on Facebook seem to love it. So that's encouraging. :)

Yea, there just was not room for them all. Also, Inkscape fails to mention that S and N are "Select" and "Node Tool". I've always disliked the F-button shortcuts, because they have no mnemonic value, which makes Inkscape tool shortcuts harder to learn.
Anyway, the list included are the ones that I use all the time for production work. They are the ones that I think make Inkscape better than Adobe Illustrator for vector editing, and most of them require more than one click to access otherwise, whereas tool shortcuts only save one click.
I had to be pretty brutal in leaving a lot out. It will never be an exhaustive list on a card this small.
My hope is that the ones included are useful enough to get more people using Inkscape's hotkeys. Surely, everyone will have their own list of favourites.
