There are a few things for win32 builds that I have been starting to get hammered out. However, I'd probably need some help with it (as I don't think just editing and checking in my changes from Linux would be the best way)
So... I'd like to make a call for all present and potential Windows users. If you can compile Inkscape yourself or not, doesn't matter. I'd just like to find who can help maybe just run it on different setups. Windows 95/98/ME users are especially needed.
Of people who can compile Inkscape for Win32, we'd like to know your exact setup. It would be nice to be able to try it on a few different build pathways.
If you want to just sound off, you can reply directly to me at jon@...155...

Hello,
I am using Win2k on my 1700MHz AthlonXP desktop and Win98SE on my 266MHz PentiumII notebook.
I downloaded the inkscape040106 build. Still there is the issue that freehand-tool is scambled and font is not correct displayed. And yes I have latest Mingw/MSys on both environments but I have no glue how to debug this thing :-(
HTH,
Adib.

Jon,
I have Win2000 on a Pentium III 933 and can check different builds.
As you know I have checked numerous Win builds so far and my current problem is that I cannot get a preferences file to be created. I have included a screenshot of this mornings download after installation.
