I would like to check with you if you have any objections to our distributing some of your software on CD.
We have found that many students have only access to a dial-up internet connection (or none at all), and so would like to be able to supply our students with a CD of the software that they may find useful as part of their studies. We have chosen the following software from your organisation to go on this CD:
Inkscape
You can find more information of the (fledgling) web site at www.springstep.co.uk. We hope we have made it clear that we have absolutely no rights over this software, and are providing links back to your web site for license terms, updates, and possibly, to purchase the paid-for version. All serials, registrations etc. would be handled through your web site in the normal way, as we will only be supplying the installation executable.
You may, at the moment, see your software listed on the web site - please be assured we have released no discs so far that contain software to which you have not expressly agreed.
We hope we will be able to provide the software shown above, and to be able to encourage and teach students in the use of it.
Thanking you in advance for your consideration, Adrian
Hi Adrian,
Yes, this is fine and is well within the usage terms.
Also, your students may find the following resource of value when they use inkscape: http://www.openclipart.org/
Thanks, Bryce

I saw a response from Bryce show up about half an hour after that request came in.

Not sure if anything happened after that, though.
Yes, I did several days ago. Haven't heard back.
