Yes, I think such a checkbox would be a good idea. Can you please do it, and then we can retire the Wavy.
Hmm after a little more thought: one could just write sin(2*pi*x) instead of sin(x), since the constant pi is available in the function description (I tested it, and it works fine). So I can safely remove Wavy, without any changes to funcplot.

Yes, but why not make it easier for the user? What you propose requires some thinking and is inconvenient if you have a complex function that uses x more than once.

Agreed! Funcplot has been upgraded with this 'times 2 pi' option.
