Hey All,
It seems that the OSX package is the one we are waiting on at this point. Do we not have anyone currently available that knows how to get this packaged?

I can produce packages for Leopard and Snow Leopard (x86 and PPC) this evening Australian time, say 9 hours from now. Sorry for the delay, I was very busy over the last few days. I'll email the list when they're up on SourceForge.

I've posted a Inkscape-0.47-1.LEOPARD+.dmg Mac package to SourceForge. I've tested this on Leopard and on Snow Leopard.
Interesting, the python extensions are also working on my Snow Leopard machine, even though they didn't work in the prereleases built with exactly the same process. I'd be interested to hear from other people on Snow Leopard to confirm python extensions are working under Snow Leopard.

Is there any way to get a precompiled and packaged aqua version of Inkscape with native gtk on OsX for those who just want to test it instead of spending the whole afternoon like me with macports and compiling and finally without getting it run? I just even didn't get to the point where I was able to start bundling because it didn't run smoothly at all. (started well but then repeatedly crashed with the message '(inkscape:50197): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion `object->ref_count > 0' failed')
I'm not really firm with all this compiling stuff but would love to test the aqua version of Inkscape even with reporting bugs if it's in early development stage.
Does anybody have a precompiled .app-bundle of Inkscape 0.47 with native gtk-support for OsX 10.5 to share?
