Tried that and I get this "nm: /usr/bin/inkscape: no symbols".
Sorry, try "nm -D", or alternatively, "readelf -aW"

Ok, there is no mention of g_option in that output. I think that is a good thing, right? The bad news is that when I run that command against pre3, oh wait pre3 wasn't done right either. Ah, yes 0.42 has the problem but 0.42-2 doesn't. I think we are good to go. Can I get someone (a gtk2.4 person?) to give this package a try?
