Guys:
I understand that coding is addictive, but we must finally move ahead with the release. So, unless there are serious objections, I declare a refactoring freeze starting tomorrow at noon EST! Please do all your refactoring commits before then.
To refresh your memory, a refactoring freeze means:
no lib migrations, no rewriting and rearranging code "for general correctness", and no 2geom syncs "just
in case" until the release. I realize this is all done for good reasons, but experience shows that each such wave of changes brings bugs that keep popping up long after the wave has passed.
So, let's stop refactoring and start bugfixing in a serious way. Thanks for cooperation!

According to JF Barraud there should be another geom sync to fix an LPE crasher. Was it ever done? :)
It is allowed to fix crashes, of course. Just please try to limit the number of the files you change as much as possible, so this is a fix, not a refactoring.

I think I did this yesterday.
(not LPE crasher btw ;) , I hate how it pops up too often nowadays!, so this was NOT an LPE crasher!!! ;) :P ;)
Hi! right, this was no lpe crasher! I just wanted to use new 2geom intersection routines, and the related sync was done weeks ago ;-)
Highly exiting (and finally stable!) intersection routines are coming up on 2geom side by the way! (they should finally fix the boolops lpe.)
These would be usefull for the boolops
