Hi,

Are there any other ways to create and validate accounts ? If spam accounts are the problem, then maybe create a validation layer after modifications are made.

I think this manual process deter people from contributing small changes and add some noise into the mailing list. As a comparison, it's a lot easier to modify wikis on github projects even for first time users.
