Here are the meetingnotes for today's dev meeting:

Attending: Tamir, Vaibhav, Mike, Rene, Jonathan, Ishaan

Rene: Reactivated Windows CI for master branch. Not satisfied with the artifacts, window drawing in Windows is weird after the switch [no pun intended], might need to look into it.

Vaibhav: Working on Bug Fix Accelerator, starting from easy to complex.

Ishaan: Working on Selector Tool, Rene suggested to ask questions in the dev chat.

Mike: Continuing work on the Symbols dialog.

Jonathan: Failed to build master on 22.04, but got it working on Windows. No spot of Google Summer of Docs for Inkscape. Planning to ask about end user applications since most accepted projects are libraries.

Generic Discussions: GTK4 Inkscape works for Tamir on Windows, yayy!

Some discussion on Windows support since Windows 10 will be EOLed in 2025.

Cursor icons are bigger than they should be, and then some discussion on GTK4 cursors and high dpi screens.

Rene asked a question about Google Summer of Code students - Since they targetted pre-gtk4 versions of Inkscape for the 2-patch rule, are they able to work on post-gtk4 master. A public announcement might be required to ask them to rebase their work on master. Discussions about Developer role and how to minimize privileges. It might be difficult to disallow just a single person or person(s) from the Approval settings, that setting seems like it is group based.
