848355 - fixed temporarily, a better fix needs more work, but the bug may be closed because 852973 stays, and the better fix will have to fix them both

842627 - I cannot reproduce, anyone else?
853858 - this is what we discussed recently about copying <defs>, I think it's unlikely to be fixed before the release

If I understand the bug right, the new UI makes this issue no longer relevant. I'm closing.

I can't reproduce it either. I tried both opening the same file twice, and opening the file once and creating a second view on it, and closing in different ways. I assume since it refers to the close verb on the context menu, which is no longer there, that the bug has been eliminated due to the UI redesign. I've closed it.
