Uups, my bad.

When I run: set path= minwenv mingw32-make -f makefile.mingw dist

then it works. Maybe some content of my included path makes this silly output.

Strange, but it seems to be escaping with the backslash character. What if you double the backslashes? copy samples\*.svg inkscape\samples
