Win32 freeze-at-border bug seems to be fixed
Hi,
I just committed a couple of changes to sp-canvas.cpp that I copied from Sodipodi. They seem to fix the win32 freeze-at-border bug, so please could windows users test the CVS build and see how they get on.
The changes are #ifdef'ed only to happen on Win32 (for the moment), so hopefully there should be no Linux side-effects.

Tested. Works. Thanks a million! This was by far the worst of all Inkscape bugs (not only Windows ones).

So far as I can tell the changes do no harm on Linux, so I've enabled the change for Linux as well.
If we don't do this now it'll likely get forgotten and the conditional bits just obscure the code for anyone who comes along later.

Yup, changes work and the bug is no more. vellum build 26 June 1019

Hi,
I can confirm that that works so far :-) I am using latest Ishmails nightly build (040626) on my winxp.
