Lol, I only just noticed this went to inkscape-wiki... Didn't even remember the list exists, nor that I'm subscribed.
Please rather use inkscape-devel or inkscape-docs for any further requests/questions. inkscape-wiki is kind of dead, and will probably soon be removed, when mailman3 is set up.

we can give you Wiki access, but I think this issue

is - if at all - more of something to add to the FAQ, where we collect these things.
It's not going to be long, though, until this will be fixed (or rather, until the fix will be widely available with 0.92.5 and 1.0).
If you'd still like to add a section to the FAQ (either yourself, or if you don't want to bother with http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/WebSite , you can also just send either Brynn or me your suggestion for the Q+A for this), let us know.
