Color choosers -- why isn't swatches with the others?
I was just wondering why the swatches color chooser isn't with the other color choosing methods in the fill and stroke dialog?

Probably because fill and stroke dialog will be nuked later :)
Not so much...
but more because the color choosers are for picking an RGB color, whereas the swatches are fills. Might be patterns at some point.

Crazyness. Wait a second. If they're fills, wouldn't they still fit in the _Fill_ and Stroke dialog? When I select a swatch, it sets an RGB color in the FaS dialog too.
Not trying to cause trouble, just trying to understand.

I don't think so. Not everything would fit into a toolbar. In particular the color wheel of usable size won't.
On the other hand, hopefully all our dialogs will one day become dockable to the main window, whereas toolbars will be floatable, so the practical difference between them will shrink.
