I'm also a linux user myself, so I'd love to se your proposal implemented. The portion of my message you quoted is a little out of context, I was replying to someone who was a Windows user and thought that Tango icons are *linux only*, iirc. I was suggesting an icon theme changer in the UI if a better solution wasn't possible, but your solution is far more elegant and convenient. And honestly, I don't care much about windows :)
