OASIS came in my mind. the open document format. Karbon14 uses it yet and i'd guess OpenOffice's drawing app also will.

This may not be an important goal, as the format is not popular yet, but still i think inkscape should support it sooner or later. But maybe we don't need to bother about that and get that ability from the Uber-Converter. ;)
