Let me start with saying that i think Inkscape is great software. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Then, i little remarkt about the website (www.inkscape.org). When you view it in firefox, it looks ok, until you press Ctr-+ (increase text-size), which makes the menu move towards the middle of the page. Ok, it is still readable, but it doesn't look that nice (and i guess people who write graphics software, realy care about how something looks ;-)).
