GSoC 2009 - Midterm Evaluations
Hey Mentors,
As I am sure you are already aware, the midterm evaluations are available for you to fill out regarding the progress of your students. The surveys became available about 12 hours ago and they are due by the 13th (next Monday).
To complete the surveys, please visit: http://socghop.appspot.com/
In the left menu, the links are toward the bottom and in red to help them stand out.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Cheers, Josh

Ok, students and mentors, the Melange team is working hard but there currently is no way in the GSoC application for Josh or myself to see the status of your surveys. Could I ask that all of you check your email for the nag mail from Melange sent about 12 hours ago. Please complete the survey and respond to this thread when you have finished. Then Josh will know that you are done and he won't have to worry about tracking you down.
Students bug your mentors! If they don't complete the survey, you can't get paid!
Thanks for your cooperation everyone.

Thanks everyone! I still can't see status of the surveys in the GSoC app. (I can't see if the surveys were completed or if the students are passing.) But I believe I've gotten confirmation from everyone that they are complete.
Thanks again and carry on! :-)

And for the community staying "in the know", all 5 SoC students have passed the midterm evaluation and are continuing on. :)
Congrats so far and we wish them luck!
Cheers, Josh

It would be great to have short reports what students have achieved so far. I'd post them at inkscape.org.
