Hello team,
As you probably already know, registration for LGM 2013 is open, and talk proposals can be submitted.
The event is taking place on April 10-13 in Madrid. See http://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2013/.
LGM used to have a nice attendance by Inkscape team in 2006-2010, but then, AFAIK, things have changed.
Has anybody already made up their minds to participate this year? If you did, I'd be happy to publish news and invite community to attend the event, so that they could meet you in person.

What's the situation with sponsoring people to go to LGM?
If there's a "situation", it's the first time I hear about it.
As far as I can tell, the Inkscape board has the funds to sponsor active developers to attend relevant conferences. Alternatively, LGM organizers reimburse travel expenses (although they tend to have limited funds).

I thought there might be a situation; you didn't mention it in the original email. LGM is the kind of thing that would be relevant, yes? Just thinking that there might be people on the list interested in going, but not aware of these things.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
Best Regards, Martin
I had promised myself that I would go this year. Unfortunately I am neither active enough, close to Madrid or blessed to travel by my SO. That money would be best spent on other contributors.
If my vote counts for anything, please try to get both Valerio Aimale & Josh Andler to LCA (should they are willing)
