Bob, Last night I tried to compile Inkscape following the directions you have provided here: http://troi.hous.es3.titan.com/inkscape/ It seemed that I needed to change the location of the GTK folder in mingwenv.bat as well as Makefile.mingw.common. If I'm not doing something wrong you may want to add that to the directions.
And when I compile I get the following build error:
extension/script/InkscapePerl.cpp:16:20: EXTERN.h: No such file or directory extension/script/InkscapePerl.cpp:17:18: perl.h: No such file or directory extension/script/InkscapePerl.cpp:18:18: XSUB.h: No such file or directory make[1]: *** [extension/script/InkscapePerl.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `C:/inkscape/src' make: *** [all] Error 2
Mental suggested that I disable the embedded interpreters. But I never ran configure to enable them in the first place. And I don't know how to turn them off. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Aaron Spike
