How can I Help Speed Up the Inkscape 0.49 Release?
Hi all,
how can I help speed up the Inkscape 0.49 release? I'm interested in doing that and have some free time.
Regards,
Shlomi Fish
Thanks for helping Shlomi,

The priority is the two remaning blockers: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bugs?field.tag=blocker
But these are medium to hard difficulty IMO, so don't sweat if they look like too much. Next on the list is targeted bugs:
There are 54 other targeted bugs for 0.49 with the status 'New', 'Confirmed' or 'Triaged'. These have priorities on them as you can see. I'm willing to work with anyone to start clearing these.

Thanks for the input. The blocker bugs do indeed look intimidating, and I found another bug about a gtk+ regression that affected Inkscape and it was not clear to me how to fix it. Maybe I'll take a closer look later on. I can try starting from a more low-hanging fruit.
