Hey guys,
In the course of doing the work in cooperation with LinuxFund, one question: Can I fully depend on boost?
Regards M.

We're already using boost::optional and a few other bits, so I guess the answer is yes, at least for the projects contained in the main libboost-dev package in Debian.

Ok thanks!

At least some use of it is already a dependency. However see if you can limit the parts of BOOST in use. It can be handy, but then some parts can be a bit overused. Also BOOST is made of up many parts for that reason among others.
If you want, you can search the dev archives for the discussions we've had in the past in regards to it.
