Inkscape slides in spanish
Hi, A few months ago there was a presentation of Inkscape at the University of A Coruña. Now the slides used at that presentation have been made available. The slides are made in inkscape in order to provide a useable space on the right to do some demos as you speak. Find them at: http://www.gauss-fic.udc.es/Members/moebius/tutoriales/inkscape/inkscape-sli... And «kudos to the author»: Adrián Perez de Castro
If an english translation is needed I'll be glad to provide one.
Cheers,

If there was some way you could put the slides one the web in HTML (or even plain text) format so that we can use automated online translation tools that would be great (and hopefully much easier than a full translation).

With the quality of translation by existing online tools, would it be worth the effort, especially as the source text is fairly domain-specific?

I find the quality is adequate and I know enough English, French and Latin (but not all that much) to understand the gist of what is being said when a translation tool has done the basic work.

I was assuming there might be a relatively easy way to convert to HTML or Text (with people using Inkscape to design websites I'm sure there will be more requests for easy converting to HTML) but if there is no easy way then fair enough and I can try and muddle through with my almost non-existant understanding of Spanish. The domain specific bits should be the easiest parts for me to understand, the automated translation tools save having to translate the rest of the document which I expect would be fairly easy if I actually knew any signficant amount of Spanish.

I'll try and find a way. The problem is that the author converted all text to strokes so there would be no font issues. I'll ask for the originals.
