Geo_Inkscape wiki page

For any SVG mapping fans, I've started a geo_inkscape wiki page where we can put down all kinds of information of how to use Inkscape with mapping, GIS, etc. I've just thrown down a few bits of info - so the page is rough and needs lots of work - feel free to contribute.
At SCALE we had a chance to meet and talk with some of the Open Street Map folks. They are already using Inkscape to create their mapping tiles. I'll try to get some more time to flush out some tasks that can allow both projects to integrate better.
Meanwhile I've posted a blueprint for a KML-SVG translator as a GSoC project. This would enable users to draw cool, scalable, geo-referenced icons and overlays in Inkscape and add to Google Earth or Google Maps - it would most likely involve XSLT work - any interested students ?
